Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

GREAT, Gloria. (Are you the person that said you don't know a lot about brugs?) You are the best!

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Congratulations Gloria!!!!!!

I'd love to see a great big double Whiskers....wouldn't a double Frosty Pink be cool....I can dream. LOL

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

There should be doubles in the GL x Maya cross and there could be doubles in the other crosses. There could be colored doubles in the GL x Maya cross. Keep my fingers crossed for you.........

Thanks for the tip Monika, we would be lost without you. I have not had the best of luck with Frosty pink as a seed bearer. Many many whites....great pollen producers and seed setters though. Anyone else had any luck with Frosty pink seedlings?

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Crossing my fingers, from Iowa. Good Luck Glory!!

I was so excited when I realized these pods were forming I ran into the house and told Ronbob(Ron) and his reaction was that's nice...could you tell he wasn't very excited? LOL

Gloria, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you.

FSH, TX

lol, Gloria, thats okay...thats a much better reaction than I get at the house when I start a seedpod.

Eric,
When we become rich and famous it will be a different story. LOL

Way to go! Think you have hybridizing pretty well figured out.

Hope you get some good doubles and color, yet.

Keep going. We will be reading about you in the BIG brug news!

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Glory, I've got a teeny tiny Maya and a teeny Golden Lady, maybe they will bloom at the same time!! I guess I'm lucky, DH gets excited over my accomplishments witht the brugs!!(then he says, how about doing something like that with a crop that you CAN make money on.) I had developed a coleus that I was to deliver to The Flower Fields and I killed it, I cried over that one!!

Cala,
I crossed my Maya with pollen from the Golden Lady but not sure if it took...I'll have to check and see. I do have two flowers on the Golden Lady right now and I will remove the pollen and freeze it tomorrow. I have buds forming on a few other Brugs.

Golden Lady update:
Today....should say yesterday since it's 2am....I pollinated a flower on the Double Golden Lady with some pollen from a Versicolor Peach....I found the pollen in the freezer. I will keep y'all updated on the progress.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Glory, we will keep oru fingers crossed for you. Hope you get a beautiful double peach.

FSH, TX

Were keeping our fingers crossed for you Gloria. I have a few Shredded white blooming, pink aurea's, double aurea...but thats about it for the moment...well a few other aurea types, but nothing in the right color spectrum. Needless to say the double aurea flowers will never make it past the greenstage....

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

This would have been a great time for Gloria if we had our pollen bank up and running. Can't wait to send the pollen to Eric for future uses. Gloria, I sure hope you get a beauty from that cross. Might get several of them. Good Luck.

Hamilton, Canada

Somebody needs to send Gloria some pollen STAT!! What else can she possible create with Golden Lady? Keep her well supplied with pollen so she can produce some more hybrids.

Gloria, I can just imagine how excited you are. I just know that your are going to get something very special and and you deserve it. I guess all of us will just have to wait and see what beautiful flowers you get out of all of your crosses.

Gloria..Frosty Pink X Jean Pasko will yield some awesome white offspring..seldom many colored ones though. My Biggest flowered offspring come from Jean Pasko crosses.
