I'm over-wintering my NZ flax in my greenhouse.
Temp 50-67 Humidity 75% or greater.
The leaves are turning brown on the ends...some dying
I've noticed white "foam" on some of the leaves
Spraying with Orthene hasn't helped.
Please Help!.

Could that white foam be mealybug..yuukky!!!!!not uncommon on strap like foliage plants..I suggest maybe ..take a sample of the leaf in a plastic bag to your nearest nursery or gdn centre..they should be able to ID it and find a rememdy..good luck..Elaine
