I have accidentally broken/cut pods off and wondered about some that didn't stay turgid. The pods were all shriveled and the penduncle was shriveled too. I went ahead and opened them, thinking what do I have to lose. I was surprised, they had matured in the two or so weeks since their early harvest. I stuck the ends in pots of soilless mix just like the others I had.(when their accidental removal happened) Some will take and some will shrivel. (I'm sorry if I ramble, I caught it from you guys). These are suaveolens and Frosty Pink seeds, don't know the daddies.
