Brugmansia..I take the entire anther off with a long pair of surgical tweezers and put them whole in glass sterile tubes with screw on lids. Then refrigerate..I label them with masking tape and put in the refrig door.Sometimes I find them six months later!!LOL :-)

So it should just be refrigerated? Not frozen?

Poppysue I only refrigerate not freeze......haven't tried freezing so can't make a judgement..:-)

Yes, one can freeze in your freezer and one can freeze them a bit colder than that as well. I find pollen stays viable for quite a while when one freezes it after drying it first of course for a few hours. I also store my pollen cases in ziplock bags now to keep moisture out.

Thanks Eric learning more every day
