Anouschka is a seedling of 1997. It blooms up white, changing into orange after three days. Slow growing, heavy bloomer. Needs to be improved. candida like Multihybrid.
flore plena Anouschka with double and single orange flowers
Could someone get some pollen from that one?...hint,hint...
Seriously, I am in love with your hybrids. Of course everyone here is as well. I can't wait to see what you have in store for us next year...Care to share a picture from 2000 hybrids or 2001? I like dark pinks and peaches myself. If you have any of those.
If we can order from Monika, I'm starting to save some pennies as of right now.
I still say we send someone oversea's to visit. They could hide the hardwood cuttings as a suitcase. I think a suitcase made out of Brug cuttings would be nice...don't you think? No, never mind the leaves on my suitcase officer...those are for decoration....Flowers....What flowers? I don't see any flowers. Just my suitcase...never mind me.
ROFL Eric!
I will share pictures of my new hybrids with you. I am just so excited as you are. During watering today I found several middle sized seedlings of double Carmencita x double to triple Troika, they are sisters (Charleston x Rothkirch). I forget all about them.
You forgot about them? I'd have been checking them 20 times a day. A triple! Can we see that one???? PLEASE, PLEASE~~
I really forgot them; to many others things had happened.
Monika...this one I love!!!!!Keep em comming..:-)
With this cross I wanted a double orange. I got a double orange, two double apricots, a beautiful cream to lemon colored double (which I love) and many single aurea type hybrids of no value. I checked the parents, their sisters and their offspring. The rest is hope.
Monika, this one is so beautiful. These pictures keep us hopeful that we too someday can grow ones like this.
You can.
