Had a great trip to Virginia. The drive on Skyline Drive overlooking the Shenandoah Valley was breathtaking. The trip would'nt have been complete without a visit to Logees. Their seven greenhouses are awesome with huge Camellia Trees and Passafloras growing everywhere. I saw a huge 99 yr old Ponderosa Lemon Tree with lemons the size of grapefruit. They had three huge Brug trees growing in one of the GH.I left with 5 new Brugs, Peaches and Cream, Sunray, Suav. Variegated, Jean Pasko and Species. Now to catch up on all the news on this forum. It looks like I'll be here for a while. LOL
Visit to Logees

It sounds as though you had a wonderful relaxing day and to top it off . . . 5 new brugs and what a nice variety. Have fun planting them!
Snow, I am glad you had a nice trip, I wouldn't have been able to contain myself at Logee's like you. I wish I had known that you were looking for those. I could have sent you cuttings of all but the Peaches and cream. anyway, I am glad you had a nice trip. Dee

Snow,
Glad you had such a great time...Welcome Home!!!!
I would be in heaven if I could visit Logees. Lucky you!
Kyle, I did'nt get to see Byron. There was a girl working in the GH that had lots of knowledge of the plants. I happened to ask if they had a variegated Artillary plant and she said they didn't have any. I asked if they had a variegated Penta and she said she thought they did. There was so many small plants on all the tables it was near impossible to check through them all and I'm sure I missed lots. Most all the plants that were for sale were small plants but they had lots of them. I put a couple of pictures on the photo forum of plants in their GH.It really was a tropical jungle in there with barely enough room to walk through the walkways.
