Using tea on wood

southeast, NE

Last week I was listening to the "Queen of Clean" on a radio call in show. Someone said she needed a way to shine up wooden floors. However the caller said she was allergic to most chemicals and polyurethane. The Queen of Clean said to brew 3 or 4 tea bags in a quart of water. When the tea is still warm (not hot) to wipe it on the wood. Have any of you ever tried/heard of this?
