Hi Louisa, sooooo funny! I just read the other thread! hee, hee. I am 39, although I like 20ish better! I have blondish brown hair, blue/green eyes. I stand all of 5ft maybe 1 inch..and I am small-medium build, about 112lbs. My hair is curly, but only because I permed it. It is down past my shoulders. Just average looking, more on the plain jane side. Not very fancy. Lisa

Hi everyone!! I've been out at my classes. Just back in. I put my description of myself on the other thread. I'm 49 but I definitely don't feel it!!! I'm the same height as Lisa and I garden a la Charlie!
Northerner, I just back from the other thread and I am giggling at you! I always wanted to be a redhead too! I just think they are so pretty! It is good to hear from you and Daisy today. I hope ya'll don't mind us Americans talking on your forum, 'cause I sure am having fun with ya'll! I won't be on line until much later tonight. I have a gardening meeting tonight. I am bringing the snacks. I am cooking a bread pudding right now. I hope ya'll are still here when I return late. Regards, Lisa
Lisa, we feel honoured that you should join us. I just wish others would do. Do you want to hear about my day and my cheap meal (if anyone is out there that is)!!!
I have to say night-night, my hubby is getting a little annoyed with me for spending so much time on this computer. He just doesn't understand!
You guys all seem to have such great social lives that revolve round gardening. I'm going to have to find out about some gardening clubs round here, i can't let you lot have all the fun, lol
Sleep well, if you ever do sleep that is!
Daisy, good night! It is only 4:30 in the afternoon here..Yes, Louisa, lets hear it. I will be popping in and out of here before I leave! Thanks for the nice words, Lisa
I enjoy talking with my friends overseas as well. But the time difference takes some getting used to! It's my bedtime now. Goodnight everyone!
Well, we had to go and sort out the rest of the stuff for the house and do some errands. I had not intended to be out too long because as you know Brandy is not well. Because I would be cooking tonight I didn't want a large meal at lunch time and it was getting near mid-day and I felt really hungry. I hardly ever eat burgers but today I almost had a craving for one. A new Macdonalds opened up in Charlottesville and when we got there found out that I had left my wallet at home and DH only had just over $3 on him. Reluctant to go and find a cash machine (remember I wanted to get home) DH said he would fix it. He came out of Macdonalds carrying the 'brown bag' laughing his head off. He had only asked for a 'Happy Meal' for me! He had a cheesburger, I had a burger AND fries, a drink and a free toy..LOL!! It was a plastic dog that actually barked. Well, I nearly collapsed laughing. You would never be able to buy that meal in England for that price - just ask the gang. Think of all the money I could save if I ate like that every day. But no, I'm a good cook and enjoy my food! So I do cook most days, besides you don't know what you're eating out there anymore...LOL
Hello, people, how are you all this evening, Lisa, i have never seen anyones posts nor do i have xray goggles, mores a pity, lol, so i got close them huh.
Alan.
Alan, I don't think the gang are here tonight. I am going off line to watch "Survivor" but will be back later.

OK you can get some of me but not all of me!! I'm 5ft5", weigh 130 lbs. Very dark, bobbed hair, brown eyes, olive complexion, quite a good figure. I am half Irish, a bit of Italian and English. I love a good laugh and happy people. I talk to anyone, being the friendly soul that I am. I have great compassion for mankind and animals alike and try to do my bit to alleviate any suffering to the less fortunate. I hate to be miserable and have found ways around that. I try to look on the bright side of life and I count whatever blessings come my way. Is that enough..LOL. What? Didn't you like my story about the Happy Meal.????
I'm signing off. No-one here!
Hello, any one in.
Alan.

Hello Patty, i have always been a night owl, since iwas a kid, i was hyper active as soon as i could walk, i slept for two hours a day, still can, it makes for very long days, and it can get to you from time to time, i was wondering about Lisa's age, i would have said 29, maybe it was a typo on her part, yesterday it snowed and the polar bears were out, today it been a mild spring day, we even had a bit of late evening sunshine, cant account for it really, how things on your farm.

The advantages of being up this late is the quiet, once i turn off the pc, you could here a pin drop, and its great, i like it in the summer, it gets light here about 3.30 am, i often sit in the garden drinking coffee watching the sun rise, do that from june till september, and being here alone, i have to say i hardly notice the difference really, just an empty space, its just as quiet, my poorly big toe, has healed up in less than 48 hours, and after two years of pain and blood, i am actually missing it, can you believe it, i have been so accustomed to the discomfort, it so very strange without it, but, i think i will get used to real quick, lol.
Alan.
Good night Louisa, enjoy your read, see you tomorrow.
Alan.

Patty, the crowd is getting bigger, but i live in the fens, its like holland here, very flat you can see for miles on a clear day, and its all farm land, crops, so there are not to many hedge rows left now, but its still possible to take a drive into the fen and not see another soul for hours, a friend and i often go fishing in the fen, we have been there 10 hours or so, and not seen even a car in he distance, i know thats not hard in the US, but we are smaller than a lot of your states.

I thought about getting one of those pin boards and a world map, keeptrack of the nice people i get to talk to, i wonder if dave could do such a map on here ?,
what fish do you catch were you are ?.
my greenhouse is just fine, i had an hour or so in there this afternoon, lots of seedlings on the go, some of my plants are starting to shoot now too.
My garden isnt that big, its about 100' long and 35' wide, the green house and potting shed are 30' long and 12' deep, so the bottom is taken up there, i am having to get a new pc, this one belongs to the ex, and she wants it back, but when i get the new one i will post a couple of photos, you can see then.
All my family lives in the area, but we are rather disfuctional, we only get to gether at weddings and funerals, and thats plenty.

Hi Louisa, I liked your story! too funny. I was busy today. It was so pretty outside that I worked out doors all day. Tonight I had a gardeners meeting. I am just getting home. Lisa
