Well, it is here -- Mardi Gras. Our town has been taken over by R.V.'s and revelry. I stay home, don't do crowds and Mardi-Gras..alot safer here on the mini farm! This morning news has me very concerned. It seems that the most serious of all warnings has been announced. More terriost attacks and New Orleans is one mentioned. I am about 30 minutes as the crow flies from New Orleans and there is a nuc. plant not to far from me..okay, so I am a little "worried" today. Heres hoping it is all worry in vain. My brother is also flying in from Africa today and he will be landing at the New Orleans airport.
Kmom - I was so sorry to read your dad is so ill. I am glad he finds some comfort in being around the grandkids. Sending good thoughts and prayers your way.
This weekend was very busy for us, Jesse got my milking stand built for my goat, milking is so much easier when you have the right tools! We also finished the dog houses and almost finished my high class chicken coop..lol..those chickens will be the envey of all chickens around.
Everyone have a safe, warm, wonderful day! It is a chilly 36* this morning, warming up to the 50's. Blessings, Lisa
