We have only been watching Pop Idol for about 3-4 weeks so never watched it before that, but i never voted for anybody until tonight and i voted for William, and he won so if you wanted Gareth to win its all my fault.

My daughter and i have had our money (and votes) on Will from very early on Sheila, so don't worry about it, you did the right thing. The best man won LOL {:o)
I tried to vote last night but the line was engaged and I couldn't get thru, wanted to vote for Will.
I voted for Gareth right at the beginning, that must have been the very first show I think. I was really pleased to see him go thru to the Final. But I think that Will has the better voice and I'd started voting for him instead. I think the result was exactly right.
I found the show quite compulsive viewing. Some of the "singers" in the autumn were really dreadful - it was hilarious - especially the YMCA one. And I really enjoyed seeing some of the better singers develop over the series.
It'll be interesting to see what happens to the more talented ones who didn't make it to the end - they couldn't all win. And will Gareth pursue his operatic dream? Mmmmm...
Can't quite see Gareth as Pavarotti - not without a great deal of padding!

I liked Zoe, mind you i think it was that song I wanna dance with somebody by Witney Houston, the reason i like it was because my daughter belonged to a disco group many years ago and she and the other girls used to dance to it, so we used to practice at home and i used to do it a lot better than the girls, so whenever we went anywhere such as a wedding or engagement this song was always requested just so that Mum could do her thing, yes the videos do get shown especially when somebody gets depressed so they can laugh again.Miss those times when the kids were smaller.
