Good Morning Everyone,

First thing that greeted me when I went out of the house this morning was the smell of skunk. Hope they find somewhere different to hang out.

One of my old cows has quite a limp this morning. I have to wonder if she stepped on a thorn or something. May have to have the vet out if she doesn't get better. She isn't real gentle and I don't have a squeeze chute. I'll keep my eye on her. One of my little herefords almost missed breakfast she had gone quite a ways from the house this morning. When she realised what she was missing I could hear her bawl from quite a distance away and then saw her running towards the house. The herefords seem to be the most vocal of the cattle for some strange reason. If they see me they always have something to say.

Hubby has had a terrible cold this week. He is usually the one that goes to the mill and picks up feed, but I will make the trip today. I also cancelled an appointment he was supposed to keep today. He didn't fuss with me too much about it.

One of my young ewes is getting big and bagging up.. Hoping for a population explosion around here soon.

I live close to the Highway here and I can be seen while out doing the chores in the morning. Someone in a little red truck honked a greeting at me. I sure don't know anyone with a truck like that.

My youngest daughter got her new company car yesterday. Boy is she proud of it! She is traveling quite a bit and was in 4 different states yesterday! She only landed in Kansas cause she missed a turn, but, oh well. She is having so many neat experiences and really seeing cool stuff. She loves the milk in Wisconsin!
