It looks as if our skies are trying to clear up today.50* as I type. The sun is peaking out more than it has been for the last week.
I am a bit worried about momma goat, I am not sure if she is getting mastitis. Her right udder seems to be giving her trouble, the milk production out of that side is off by a cup and she seems to be very sore. I am not feeling any heat on the udder. I am giving her injections of Naxcel just as precautionary treatments. The babies are growing by leaps and bounds and speaking of leaps and bounds...they are doing their share of that too. The cartoon below shows why you should not bring your chickens inside, especially if you own a poodle. Blessings, Lisa
