I picked a pod - all the seeds were well formed and brown except for one. It was the same size and shape as the others but was creamy white. Any idea why?

congratulations on your pod Liz. BTW, I found some new stuff to seal pods with. It's made by Band-aid and is Compeed, synthetic skin. It feels funny, almost waxy. It seals the cut and is waterproof. It's about 40 cents a patch, but you can cut them in half. It doesn't have any kind of gauze on it. I checked the versicolor pods, the seeds are just starting to turn tan and I sealed the cut back with the Compeed. I will let you know how it does.

I thought I answered this - It's the Peaches and Cream pod that I posted the picture of a couple of weeks ago. Don't know who dad is. I didn't get a lot of seeds in the pod but they're larger than what I expected.
Liz, thanks, couldn't see where you posted it. i remember you posting the pic now, in that small pot. (root canal 2 days ago, my jaw still hurts SO bad) bet you'll have some beauties.

I took many cuttings off the P+Cs in the fall. At 12inches high just about all have buds. Very surprising. I had planned on selling my extra cuttings to a local nursery but now I'm feeling protective of them. Ever since I read the bit about the double chromosomes. Oh well
Liz, wow, buds! i guess the good news is you could probably sell them for more with buds. your P&C grows fast for you, right? what a happy dilemma.
