Help printing labels pleeease!!

i'm trying to print address labels from Access, but although i put in the brand of label and the number given on the pack they don't all come out in the right place.
Have wasted hours NLOL :( Is it perhaps my printer? - when i look at the 'show printable area' it is not allowing printing at the top and bottom of the A4 sheet, although i've not had trouble printing anything else. it's an Epson Stylus Color 760. the columns are in the right place, it's the horizontal spacing that's wrong, but can't see any way of altering it.
Would really appreciate some help from all you computer literate people out there......please
