Does anyone have

Georgenpalais? I got very pushy last spring and emailed Patrice Dreckmann about what he thought was the most aromatic pink. One of the two he recommended was Georgenpalais. He very kindly sent me some seeds of something that wasn't out yet and a cutting of Georgenpalais. I'm ashamed to say that it died a slow and agonizing (for me) death. Is it as wonderful as he said?

Sorry Liz, I never heard of it but it does sound very interesting. I'm sure someone here must know about it.

Well I know that LBJ has it on their list - that makes it an American brug - so I was hoping that someone had it. He seemed to think it was pretty special.

Liz,

Native Habitat has it listed in their catalog, I don't recall seeing it on their web site though. They have more listed in the catalog than they do on the web site anyway. They have it listed as Burgmansia suaveolens 'GeorgenPalais', a new pink hybrid from Dr Preissel, with a flaring bloom. Dee

There you go - I thought it was his hybrid.
