I thought Whiskers was a yellow. I guess I've never seen a picture of it if it is white. Can someone post? Glory, do you have one handy?

whiskers was yellow i thought. its been a while since i saw it bloom, but if i remember correctly the flower is smaller than cg and the whiskers are much longer, hence its name. this would be a question for gloria to answer since it is her baby.

I posted a photo of Whiskers not too long ago. It's a creamy yellowish color. It's leaves are very different from CG also. Whiskers leaves are fuzzy and very serated, unlike CG. http://davesgarden.com/showthread/181727.html

Thanks Cala, I didn't think it was white, but sometimes my brain doesn't function on all cylinders.

Brugie, we all have those moments, lol. I wouldn't have remembered, but it's still blooming in the green house.

Whiskers is a very beautiful yellow hybrid. I was lucky enough to see Whiskers and Becca Lynn bloom this year before the great tag mishap.

Pete,
here is a picture of Whiskers and Charles Grimaldi.

I did the same thing on another thread, Arlene. Felt kind of stupid, but it sure helped me figure out why some of the words were in blue or green.

Irish, when CG first opens, it looks yellow so give it a day or two to color up.
