Wanted Yellow Cleome seeds
Kyle, I think I have some, let me look and get back to you.
I had no idea they came in Yellow. Let us know how they grow.
cleome lutea. I haven't gone through everything yet, I have soooooooooo many seed packs, but I had them in my hand the other day. If you get another offer, grab them, but I'll keep looking.
Kyle, They will have them at Native Habitat later this year. I ordered some but they back ordered them. I've been looking since early fall and this is the only place I've found them.
Here is another place that has them. They won't take orders for a couple more weeks though.

If I get mine, I'll share. Someone else from this forum is ordering for a few of us at the same time.
I'm terribly embarrassed, but what I was thinking of was the yellow clematis. I finally found them and that's when I realized it.
so sorry, but I know Brugie will take care of you if she gets hers.
Kyle, I have them on back order from Flagstaff Native Plant and Seed also. You would be welcome to some when they come. Brugie, we will have to keep tabs to see if either of us get them. Dee
I'm with you tiG, embarassed, It was Flagstaff not native Habitat. I noticed they weren't on the new list though.
These grow wild in Utah,Nevada,Arizona, so SOMEONE (seed company) should have them! LOL
Ok everyone, I am going to Las Vegas the end of Feb, already have the nursery's scoped out and on my list of to do's. I didn't know that they grow wild in Nev so hopefully I won't have any problem finding any. If I do I will pick up a load of them and let ya'll know when I get back if I was successfull or not. Eclipse, thanks for the tip about Nev. Dee
I just checked the Flagstaff site and they are still listed under wildflowers. Hope you are able to find them when you go to Nev. Dee.

Isn't the Cleome lutea a really small plant? About 12" or so, nothing like the Cleome most of us are already growing in our gardens? There's a plant that's NOT a Cleome, but which is about the size of the regular Cleome and is sold as Yellow Cleome. Starts with an 'S', but for the life of me I can't remember its name. Chiltern's Seeds is the only place I've seen it for sale. If anyone knows what it is I'm babbling about, please TELL me!
I ordered them from Flagstaff this morning hope I get them soon.
Ruth
