Could anyone spare a cutting of a climbing hydrangea? Check out my Tradelist!
Climbing Hydrangea
Hi Azalea, it's me Dee, I have the Schizophragma hydrangeoides 'Roseum'. Supposedly not very common. Mine is dormant right now (however, I did check on it the other day, looked deader than a doornail, but when I scraped a little of the bark it was green underneath. If it comes back this spring you are welcome to a piece of it or are you looking for the white one. Let me know.
Gosh - I didn't know there was more than one color, should have known better!! I'd love any kind. Roseum - sounds beautiful, yes please, make a note for me to have one.
Please take another look at my tradelist. Or I will be happy to send you postage, whatever you say.
Azalea,
Here is a link about it. Hopefully it will come back alright. Everything I have read about says it should. Even tolerates snow, so I should have no problem. The one thing is, it is supposed to be difficult to root, but I will give it a try. If a side shoot comes up with some roots that might work better. Will keep you posted though.

They sell them at davesgarden store!=]
Notmartha, how in the world do I get into the plant and seed area of the store? The only area highlighted for me is the one with the mugs and shirts!
Looks like their sold out! SORRY Elena and everyone!
Thanks for trying Notmartha. I hadn't even realized there were things for sale other than the mugs and shirts.
I got 4 honeycomb(yellow)butterfly bushes from them! Really nice plants-thanks dave n trish!
You are so lucky Dori. Calalily has been holding 4 for me forever and I have never gotten over her way to get them. Go_vols is going to get them for me when she goes so maybe I will be able to enjoy them this year. Butterfly bushes will bloom when they are very little so I should get some blooms this year.
I would love a cutting of a climbing hydrangea also if anyone has any to spare.

Thanks Dee, I will look forward to it. And I didn't know either about Dave selling anythig but cups & shirts - didn't see any posting about other things - hopefully there will br other things soon.
Hi, I have the common type of clombing Hydrangea. I have sprouts growing across the ground with rootlets attached. I'll take a look at your trade list and if you'd still like some of this I'd be glad to send you a few cuttings. Mine aren't completely dormant, getting buds now. Just LMK, and we can trade asap!
Thanks, Traci
