Orchid Glads. Does anyone have a great company they have ordered from in the past?

Saucier, MS(Zone 8b)

Brugie,

Our Wal-Mart put Orchid Glads out
last week & I think I saw some at
Lowes too. Hope this helps.

It has Lowe's what I did taken picture here at forum. Beautiful

Thanks Everyone, but getting to a Lowe's store isn't easy for me. It would be a sixty mile trip unless there is one on the South side of DesMoines. That would still be 45 miles. Sure be easier to catalog order.

Maybe Redrose could take pictures of what they have at her Lowe's, post them for you to see, and then act as your personal shopper and send your choice to you. It's no more than digging up plants, packaging and mailing them. I would offer, but I don't have a digital camera or scanner.

These should be bulbs to plant in the spring for summer or late summer bloom. I'm not looking for an already blooming plant as I would have to wait until next year to see the bloom. Great idea, Aimee, but would just rather have dry bulbs.

Brugie, I'll be going to walmart in a day or two, if I see them, I'll pick some up for both of us.

Thanks Pebble, it is too early in Iowa for our WalMart to have anything. I've never seen them there in the past, but maybe they will start getting something more than just clematis and hostas up here one day.

Chipley, FL(Zone 8a)

Brugie, they have them out in the Wal-Mart here. Would you like me to pick you some up?? Just let me know and how many if you do. Dee

I just sent you a note.....

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

Brugie, I just picked up a couple of bags, they are also called peacock orchids right? I'll send them off as soon as you send me your address.

Walmart sure has put out a nice selection of bulbs, I picked up some Mexican shell flower, and oodles of other things, they also have some boxed things like hostas, astilbes, yarrow, liatris, peonies, for 1.27 - can't beat that price - I picked up some peonies, they only had pink though...but thats okay, they are very pretty.
