seed fear

Are the leaves skinny, kinda long and pointed when they first come up? If so i have some coming up that i threw in a large pot with a brug in it. wonder what kind they were? ah! think they may have been off that plant. what do you think? see, that's how i like to start seeds. those little peat pot things almost never work for me and i try a few of them every year anyway before i start throwing seeds.

Yeah, Arlene. That`s the seedleaves. They are supposed to be that way *lol* Difficult to say, what you have got in there in the hatch-box :) Some has long, separated hairs other are like velvet, some ain`t got some.

Tonny, thanks, have 2 coming up in peat pots, was so pleased to see them coming up outside. this means they weathered the cold we had here, and i think the mom may be jamaican yellow, and maybe all the others i threw around may come up too, tons of them. i had forgotten about throwing those seeds in there. i just cannot do that peat pot/light/heating pad thing, so glad to know they'll come up on my terms!! maybe my seed fear will go away now.

Arlene, If your half as good at germinating seeds as you are growing Brugmanisa your going to have a field day with all the seeds you already have not to mention the seeds I will be collecting for you in the fall.

Brugman, i have my good and bad. trying to make arrangements with the city to loan me their chain gang when they come out to rake. lol. i am much relieved to see seeds coming up, i really had a bad fear! expect all heck to break open now! watch out here some those seedlings!
