SEEDS FOR DAD?

HI FRIENDS,my mom and dad just retired and they would really like to start gardening,with very little income i thought i would suprise them and ask all you garden friends if you would be willing to help,by sending them some of your extras, it would be such a wonderful suprise for them and i would greatly appricate your kindness thank you all for the blessings of friendship that i know ive recieved here at daves. let me know and ill send his address. thanks again all!!!! sue

Hi, I'd be glad to send seeds as well. I'll try to round up perennial seeds for them and as much as I can. Send me their addy and I'll get them on the way when I make my mail run Tuesday. 0:) I'm glad to be of help. If they need any tomato or pepper plants in April I'll have some to share as well.

Good idea Trailington...I've alrady got mine in envelope to go out tomorrow. I told them in a note that 2001 was the first year for me to save seeds so there wasn't a lot but I sent shasta daisies, yucca, cosmos, zinnia elegans, Mt. Fuji morning glories, orange, yellow, and french marigolds that I can remember. Oh, and castor bean. vic

I'll send tomatoes, peppers, onions, eggplant, and any other vegies I can find. Will also send some poppies (red double) hyacinth beans, and impatiens. Other things that I can't think of will go in the package too.

I haven't gone through all my seeds yet, but I know I'll be sending several different colors of hollyhocks and some purple echinacea, along with whatever else I find.

No need to send postage, Sue. People have been generous to me and it's nice to give back. Sent mine off today. I can't remember what all was in there. I believe there was two daturas, rose of sharon, morning glories, several types of dasies, mexican petunias, cassie candlestick, mums, and I don't know. Senior moment!
