Is my cat getting "high" on brugs?

Carbondale, IL(Zone 6a)

I don't know, but I think my lil' girl is a brug addict. She never eats them just sniffs them, and sniffs them, then snorts them some more. Is she getting something out of this? Everyday, around the same time, she goes up to the "Junter Orange", and inhales and snuffles the edges of the leaves. Her eyes are all wide and she's so intent, it'd be funny if it didn't scare me! She likes the FP too; if she can't reach it, she'll claw it towards her, and the leaves have the proof of it. Maybe she's trying to give me a "shredded" brug! LOL Soooooo, is my cat on crack or what?

Your cat sounds just like me ~~~~

Maybe she's just anxious for them to bloom, lol! Unless she actually ingests some, they won't hurt her. Even if she does eat a bite or two, it would take quite a bit to be harmful (or even halucinogenic) and they taste AWFUL.

She may just love the smell of the plant. I used to have a cat that kept going to the neighbors. I found out thay had "pot" plants out by the pool and she loved to rub on them. She would be so happy and all purring.
