Iochroma Grandflora

here is a picture of the purple one that I have....this picture was taken before I planted it in the ground.

Shirley....I think this plant got about 4 feet tall last year....I know the one with the little white flowers got 4 feet tall. This plant should be treated the same as a Brug.....Brugie...not sure if it will live through your winters.

Thanks Gloria,

I'm sure it won't live through our winters. Nothing makes it here unless it is a tried and true perennial. I think the ones that I bought are the cyaneum, but it certainly didn't tell me what size it would get to. Actually, the catalog and the web site didn't tell me anything. Thanks for posting. That other thread was getting pretty long.

Oh, Glory, that's an even prettier shade of blue than I expected in the grandiflora! Everything I've read called themsky blue, and I was expecting something lighter. I sure want to get in your cutting list!

I hope by the May time frame there will be enough growth for cuttings...I won't forget...I promise.
