EvaMae - Good idea for DD's outfit! Thanks!

Lisa - Thanks for posting pics of MaryE - enjoyed them much!

MaryE - 5000+ miles in the saddle! I'm impressed!

KathyJo - Heard on the radio about a cow visiting one of the highway on-ramps this morning & thought about you! Heard later that the Highway Patrol had a rope around her and had moved her off the road and were awaiting her owner. Apparently they have experience with this sort of thing - a little bucket and a handful of grain rattling in it and she was all theirs ;-)

Killing frost - again! wow, more than one this year! I am a freezing! (It was all the way up to 30*F by time I left this morning, so I suppose some of you NEasterners would think that warm!) Strawberries all tucked up under their remay - hope they're doing ok. Always a fine line to put them in the ground this early. Last year the farmers won their bet and there were berries starting to ripen by the end of Feb - and you *know* I was right there at their produce stand drooling & waiting! Still a toss up this year wether they'll make the extra early crop or not. I hope so - I've been thinking of strawberries and cream since I saw the plants go in and the remay go up! Should be a bumper peach crop, though, with all these "chill" days!

Take care, everyone! Blessings to you.

Karla
