Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

Greetings ~

Been running around trying to find a formal gown for DD's next concert - one that will pass the Daddy Inspection *and* will allow her to play her clarinet (clarinettists have to sit rather, uh, un-lady-like). Anyway, so I'm just catching up on reading the posts and I keep seeing posts about - snow, snow, snow! Brrrr! Making me cold just thinking about it! (And I'm freezing when it gets down into the 50's!) Drive safe!

MaryE, love to hear all your stories about your horses. Hope the one that fell is ok.

The kids talked me into letting them have pet mice - and my dogs are facinated by them. They don't have that "i'm going to eat you look" like they did when DS brought home the school rabbit for a weekend - they just watch and listen and cock their heads from side to side.

Hope the cats are ok.

Old blue pickup truck in one of the pastures today, with calves in temporary fencing. Must be "check-up" time. Winter grass growing lush; all those brown fields beautiful green. The one's left fallow last fall are over a foot high, now. I guess we'll be seeing the mowers out as soon as the rain clears up and the mud dries a bit.

A *third* strawberry field out under the remay, now. MMMMM! Fresh strawberries! Can't wait!

Take care, all. Blessing #322... indoor plumbing during the winter!
