Fayette, MO(Zone 6a)

I didn't feel much like a farmer yesterday. Up early and off to a class in a snowstorm. The class lasted 8 hours and then I'm taking call for another hospital , and dropped by there and worked for another 2 hours. Glad to be home today and not in a hurry to go anywhere. When I got home though animals were fed and watered and supper cooked. Hubby also had hot cider for me last night. That was so good. We got 6 inches of snow yesterday, so it looks like a wonderland outside. I think most of it will melt today though. EvaMae, How much did you get? How are your cats?
I was certainly glad we got all our hay last weekend. The sheep, cattle, ponies and goats are really enjoying it. The old ponies are shaggy old things with their winter coats. Especially my old mare. She is so vocal and whinnies when anyone comes near. The horses across the road completely ignore her, in spite of her best efforts to get their attention.
Well, gonna get me another cup of coffee and see what's going on on the other forums.
