This is a closeup of a cutting from the big P+C. Creamy white throughout the leaves not only on the edges. Is it what you have? Irish - this is the one you have.
Arlene and tiG - P+C closeup
Liz,
Beautiful picture......would the variegation differ from plant to plant depending on the light, water etc.
I don't know Gloria - to tell you the truth I didn't even notice the difference in the full sized plant picture until you pointed it out. Possibly it was the angle the picture was taken from where it only picked up the whitest and the lesser whites faded out?
But if you take variegated hosta as an example - the more sun you give them the greater the contrast. Maybe it's the same with brugs.
I spent a lot of time studying the leaves last summer because I wanted to tell the difference from the Variegata that was beside it.
Liz, that looks like, the pic of the whole thing, the leaves did look darker to me. i don't have anymore, i just didn't like how slow it grew compared to others, and thought i read maya was a faster grower, figured i would get that instead. yours is beautiful.
Arlene,
My Maya will be blooming in the next few weeks.....the leaves are so big and the plant is only about 3 ft tall.
looking forward to a pic, glory, still haven't gotten my cutting, hoping robin is taking good care of hers! it's beautiful and 78 here today, i have declared spring, meaning no more terrible frosts, just baby ones. lol.
Liz, What a beautiful plant. The leaves are gorgeous.
Arlene - that's the Florida secret!! All you have to do is say 'I declare Spring'? OK - running outside>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Shoot! It didn't work! Maybe I have to face south >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Liz, the one Arlene sent me doesn't look like this. The green is much much lighter and has been since I got it. It's hanging on, not really doing too much. I moved it the other day hoping it will like me better. But I guess could still be the same plant?
Wahtever you have, tig, MzM and i got them at the same place at the same time, they weren't marked. it looks like the same as my friend Robin's (exoticplants) she received as P&C. i guess this will be the next frosty pink.... i sure don't know what you (tig) have, thought it was P&C, but i am even more confused now by Jeanne's pic.... the flowers on what i thought was p&c were thinner, started white and turned to pale peach/salmon....... so confusing. Could someone check with MsM and see how hers is doing, and if she has identified it to be other than P&C????

Whatever it is, I'm glad to have it:)
WOW...still confused as a baby raccoon
okay, the one I have (from Arlene) does NOT have teeth, so that would make it a P&C.
I found ours!! it's the Klerx ?? whatever, the other one you posted. Looks just like it. What color flowers does that one have?
Okay, let us know where you found it. I think I have the same one you have, no teeth, slow growing, and mine has velvety leaves. This is killing me not knowing what I have for sure. Two variegated and no names. I do think, thanks to a lot of you, that the other one might be.......drum roll please......... "Will the real Maya please stand up!"
BC, as a matter of fact i remember it in black and white! Tig, do you think it is? i took a pic of the bloom, started white, turned light peach. gonna have to talk to robin. IRISH!!! do you remember looking at robin's at the swap in october?
Sorry - I'm up in the mountains, REALLY slow computer up here.. Have no pictures here but the variegata blooms almost a white, nodding flowers while the P+C does the peach to cream bloom that's pendant.
