Need to thin these out. Good for edges of ponds/wet areas. I think I can get 4-5 rhizomes w/fans in a 2 lb. priority box. If interested, email for my address.

****Update 4/15/01******
Sorry everyone. No more iris for now. Weather's getting too warm here and my back's about to give out! I will try to offer more in the fall. Thanks to everyone who responded.

Hi,
If you have any left, I would love to have some. Thanks so much for sharing,
Debbie
Bloomer, i received some la iris in a trade last year, sent regular mail. they didn't look real good and i let them sit for a few days, well the trader had said you can't kill them so i stuck then near a water faucet that was leaking at the time, they revived and i moved them. now they are huge and healthy looking.... just to let you know....
Please email me if you still have some available. Do you have butterfly ginger? It likes wet areas but it doesn't have to be wet. If you would like some, we'll trade, if not I'll send postage if you still need to thin some more.
Hello, I'd love a few of these if you have any left. Could you let me know? Thank you so much, Doris

hi, i would love some .. please email me if any left.. thank you......anna
LIse, a friend sent me some last year. They are growing fine but will not bloom. What sort of fertilizer do they like? Do they need lime? I have very acid soil.
Woodspirit1 -
It could be your soil pH. Ours is alkaline, so you might try the lime.
Interested if you still have any left.Thanks!E-mail me.
Bloomer,
I'm sure you have alot of takers, but if you have any left, they would be greatly appreciated.
Sandy
Hi Bloomer, Do you have anymore to spare? tc
I have no idea how many you might have but If any are still available I would appreciate it .Put me down if possible,
Glenn wilder
Thanks Bloomer. Trouble is, I'm not sure that what I'm calling Louisiana iris, really are.
Are these the tall yellow iris that can stand in bogs? or are they a short varietiy? I am going to have to take a picture of them and get an I.D., I'm afraid.
Woodspirit1 -
These are the tall variety. When planted near ponds/bogs, they grow to about 5' tall. In my climate, they are evergreen.
They are nearly indestructible. I have some planted under an oak tree and last years drought laid them down, but none died.
And I STILL have PLENTY to share!!!!
Bloomer
If you have any left I would like some. Please email me your addy if you do.
Thanks Janice
