Hi all, looks like another dreary day here. Cloudy and a little windy but only in the upper 30's. Baa, Ohio State Univ. is in Columbus I believe which is only a 2-3 hour drive from me. Hope you get in the program and can come on over the 'big pond'. Would be nice to visit. I have one silly hen that keeps laying her egg and roosting in the goat shed. Whenever I see her sitting in there I run her out and when I feed at night I have to carry her to the chicken house. I think she forgets how to jump the fence back into the other pasture to go thru the chicken pen opening you'd think she would just follow the others, guess we'll have to cut another hole in the chicken pen to open into this pasture(goofy henny). I noticed this morning one of the 3 wk old doelings has slight diarrhea so will dose her with some Pepto. Thanks to everyone for the well wishes for SIL, I was able to take her shopping yesterday to get a pair of shoes. We found some really good ones on sale @ Sears for $39.99, not bad. She's very excited but nervous also, it's going to be a big adjustment for her as she hasn't worked since the baby was born a couple years ago. She was talking about all they'll be able to do now that she'll be working. They will probably feel quite rich for a while considering what they've been living on :~) Better jump off here and get busy. Have a great day all!
