What good news I received yesterday! DH's sister who has had such a terrible time the last few years, due to her hubby having an accident that destroyed his knee, got a really good job yesterday in an oral surgions office! It's been almost three years since she lost her last job(the office closed)and this was right after hubby's accident and she was 3 months pregnant. They have lived on little of nothing, own their home and the State has been very little help. They wanted her to do volunteer work 40 hours a week for a $200. a month check and when she asked how she was supposed to pay a babysitter(hubby wasn't able to)she was told, by her caseworker, that was her problem! Needless to say she had to turn it down and they have lived on DH's $500. disability for 2 years. Now she has a job making $9.05hr with full benefits, paid vacation, etc. I'M SO HAAPY FOR HER! My DH got payed today, after I pay bills I hope I have enough to help SIL buy some uniforms and shoes. We'll see. She starts her job Friday so please everyone wish her well. Well better go get those bills paid and get outside to feed. Hope ya'll have a great day!
