Golden Lady Bud x2

Here is a pictue of my Golden Lady with her few buds....let's hope it is what it's suppose to be.

I've never heard of this one. Hope it works out to be the right one and hope you will post a picture when it opens up. Are you getting warm down there again? Really cold and windy here today. Sounding like a good spaghetti night.

It's damp today...think it's in the 50's but I'm cold....come August I'll be complaining about the heat...never happy. LOL

Lovely - did you get her from Hodnik? The leaves look so healthy too.

Glory, she is beautiful. Now I remember seeing it listed on Barb's list and i think I told her I would like to trade for that one this fall when I have stuff to trade. Is this the first time she has bloomed for you? Just a beautiful brug. They all are, but some of the doubles are just something for the eyes to behold.

No, I got it from a guy in northern MS. The green leaves are from all the Peters 20-20-20 and Osmacote...might even be some Jobes spikes in there too....over kill. LOL

Gloria, that's gorgeous. Isn't it a bit more yellow than that picture? Exciting times.

Don't know yet...never bloomed for me. I'll keep y'all up dated.

I tried ordering that one from Hodniks but they said it was unavailable at that time so it must be pretty popular.I hope thats what yours is!

Update....the Lady has started opening in the last few days...not fully opened yet but it is a double...that much I can. I will start taking pictures tomorrow and take one every day till the blooms falls off.

Gloria, that is just great. Will be waiting for pictures. Did you start her from a cutting or a plant? You do such good work with your brugs.

Golden Lady was a cutting. I think right now it has about 6-8 buds on it so as soon as it flowers..... chop, chop, chop....to make more plants.

Gloria, don't you want to let it get big before you start chopping? I don't know if I could do that. I guess you still have a very long season ahead of you though and up here we don't have that much time to deal with. I just feel fortunate if all of my brugs bloom at least once before I have to whack them down for winter. Another one of my sad stories.........:-(

I don't have a double pink "yet". :0) I'd like to have one that looks like Knightii but pink....anyone got one out there?

Gloria, I have a Jamaican Yellow that just opened last night for the first time.....smells like soap to to. haha

Can't help you out with the double pink. I broke down and ordered Pink Beauty awhile ago though....hope they have it:)

I have a new picture of G.Lady but I would like to add it to this thread....anyone know how to do it with out starting a new thread?

I don't think this G.Lady is going to be a dark yellow...guess only time will tell.
