versicolor pod

Now ya got me scared,this is my versicolor peach that I crossed with S.pink,its been there since August,is that too long?

to long no...mine was 13" long but the only way to check the color of the seeds is to put a little slit in it so you can see inside....this is something you will have to decide on your own. My seed pod had been on my Versicolor since August too. I know I'm not a bit of help. :)

I would leave that one alone. One sometimes finds that one will have fewer seeds than other times and seepod size will vary even on the same hybrid. One also sometimes finds that a seedpod will have no seeds or only a very few seeds.

I agree with Brugman. My versi pods have been there a long time and some are twice as big as the others.

I was just getting nervous after I read the other post about versicolors.That maybe they were ready and I didn't know it.I don't expect as many seeds as I had with the pink pod,this one is so much skinnier.But it just sits there.Not getting any bigger or longer.But its also a very tiny plant.
