Unknown dad. I know it should be in a bigger pot but I'm afraid to upend the pot - might break off the pod.

Wow. Nice pod. Don't blame you. I wouldn't move it to a bigger pot right now either.

Liz, wouldn't it be great if you got a pink variegated plant. Was frosty around anywhere?

You make me laugh brugcrazy - you saw the brugs. Frosty Pink EVERYWHERE!

I know you had FP everywhere. Let's hope you get a variegated pink brug. You'll be famous.

Liz,why don't you sit that little pot in a larger one, filled with good soil.Let the roots grow out through the drain holes. That might keep things going until you can safely pot up to a bigger pot.

g2s - that's a thought but might just close my eyes, pull and hope for the best.

Oh Liz,

Now see that's what I want to do...work on crosses with variegated leaves...very nice indeed and good luck with the seed pod. Don't pull too hard and abort that little baby.

I just let it dry out - grabbed it by the stem and it came out easily. I can't believe that it's taking so long though. I thought these things only took a few months.

liz,
Are those leaf edges really yellow? I have to get a hold of old catalogues with brugmansia pictures in them...Preissel's book doesn't help for cultivars that I see post on Davesgarden all the time.

PS. still thinking on what to write "post Oprah Winnfry show"

No Joydie - sorry, they're not yellow. I have 2 1000 watt sodium lights that drain all the colour from things. I took another picture of the Peaches and Cream - a cutting - the white is everywhere - not just the edges. Will post tomorrow.

I have a variegated green and yellow brug. It was a sport off of a suaveolens. I rec'd it from a guy in Vancouver. It's growing well but no flowers yet. Quite pretty foliage. Will take a picture later.
