Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Just saw one on that e-bay link,I was wondering if anyone grew them,do they grow well, and does any one have any spare seed?

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

there is a pretty one in the brug book, i think it is violet on the outside? kinda lost my interest in datura, didn't fertilize mine enough this year to get blooms til september.

The picture on e-bay shows a flower that looks like the brug double white but datura leaves

I bought a package of the Cream & Sugar datura off e-bay. Want a few of them?

CC,
Just checked the ebay site and that person is calling that Datura a Ballerina....Check with Liz in BC and see what she says because she has a Ballerina listed on her trade list. According to what I could find one site has the Ballerina listed as purple and one has it listed as yellow.

Glory,I'm scared now!!!!And if you have any of yours(cause yours is gorgeous) if you have any to spare ,I love some. What would you like in trade? And Sue,what does Cream and Sugar look like, beige and white?

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

I think ballerina is the mix of daturas that T&M has in their catalog. It's double white, purple, and yellow mixed... they're supposed to be compact plants.

It would probably be real pretty.....

Hey BrugNanny, I have a few triple yellow. Do you have enough to trade for some double yellow.

I was growing these before the "Brug habit" started. I have only seen and have a couple of different kinds. From what I could find on them there aren't that many different Datura varieties. These are what I have:

Triple yellow - Double White - Single white - Single Lavender - Sugar and Cream - Double purple (I have heard this referred to as double purple and black current swirl I think they are the same) received double blue in trade so don't know what this will look like.
I have only a few of these left, but could share a couple each. Will have lots in the summer. If you haven't seen them grow, they are really pretty, only get to about 3 ft tall, very compact. They flower till frost and put out seed pods off and on all summer into fall. Dee

Dee send me address and I will send you some. Yes I would like to try the blue. Thanks
