Sanguinea seedpod

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

This is a picture of the sanguinea seedpod that was crossed back in July. It hasn't changed much in size since the fall - the book says I have to wait until mid-March.

Great picture Liz. I would be dying to see what it has inside for seed. March isn't that far away I guess. Hope it does well for you.

I did kind of like the duct tape idea but am forcing myself to leave it alone.

You've got lots more patience than I do.It will all be worth it in March.Wishing you luck for lots of healthy seeds.

Liz,
Know the feeling.....yesterday I made myself get out of the greenhouse before I picked that pod off of Whiskers...this is awful having to wait so long.

Congratulations Liz. I wish I had your patience. I'm like Glory, I have to leave when the urge to pick the EP pod gets too strong!! There are also a couple of FP pods that have been there a long time too. Seems like they get to a certain point and just stay there.

Liz, email Marjory and asked her how long she left hers on. She had both green seed and brown seed and they both germinated fine.

Which color sanguinea ... and whose the dad? I'd be dying to pick it too!

I'll post a picture of the dad. They both have a sanguinea type bloom. One is tri-coloured, green/yellow/red and the other is more yellow/red.

Liz, its like watching your pregnant puppy and wondering when the babies will come. I'll hope for an early spring for you and then your waiting will finally be over
