culebra cuttings

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

I am so afraid to do anything to this special baby. But where the arrows are pointing, is this where I would make new cuttings? Tempted to make one now just to be safe and have two babies.

tig, i would at least do the bottom one. just don't water, stick it in soil that is already wet, guess you'll have to judge by your environment. my last 3 attempts have rooted with no wilting at all. and one of them has been outside through our coldest of nights in a fairly sheltered place.

so that is correct and that's where you take new cuttings? great, thanks!!

Looking good tiG. I can't comment much on this one since I killed my first little cutting. Live and learn I guess. I'd bet you can do it!!

tiG,
I agree with Arlene...she does very well with the Culebras.

Glory, i sure don't do well with all brugs though...seems like i have to kill some... killed one doing the log thing, don't know how! next time i think i will physically throw it out back and maybe then it will take.

Picked up my brug book this morning, gotta go check it out!

Tig,
Arlene is most certainly right.
Arlene,
Seeing as how thats how I start many of my cuttings...think you picked up a few...lol, don't know why it wouldn't work for you as we are in the same area.
