Hi folks, I have finally returned to join Dave's Garden and all the fun(under a new username). Boy I missed you guys!!! Didn't realize how much till I signed in and started cruising the forums and saw all those familiar faces, made me want to cry. *Happy Tears* It's going to take me awhile to catch up but I'm glad to be back :~D

Hi WVdaisy/Lana...I'm new here since your absence. I'm an old WV gal myself...(and I do mean OLD! LOL)...born and raise in and around Beckley. Live in AZ now, but plan to go to WV after the DG Round-up in June. Maybe you can come to the Round-up and I'll get to meet you! WELCOME HOME! Jo

It's good to meet you roadrunner :~) Another hillbilly @DGer! My grandparents are from down in coal country, Fayette county and there abouts. Whitesville, Pettus, Hinton, Marfork, etc. You could say some of those are around Beckley, I know whenever my grandmother talked about Beckley it was like the 'big city' I even have a picture of her as a very young woman posing in front of the Beckley courthouse. My grandmother graduated from Marfork High School. I'm related to Prices, DeHarts, Thompsons, Hannahs, Leightons, Dorseys & Kincaids. I don't know who else. A lot different climate in AZ than here. When my husband was in the military he was almost stationed in AZ but I had them change it because I don't like the heat very well. We went to WA state instead and loved it. I wanted to come to the Round-up but DH is too busy at work that time of year. Sounds like our kind of vacation too
