You can see it is short plant with big flower that going to open any time. I have been enjoying watch it from buds to bloom flower. My children have been telling look that it grow so big. But my boy Dustin who is 5. He know I love garden so he tell me, it is pretty flower, or want buy this or would say MOM buy this one. Maybe in future he will be gardener,(learn from MOM) :O)
My Brug pot
I am jealous, but I do have a whiskers opening up for me at home right now so I guess I should be ecstatic....Now, what to cross her to?
Brugman,
I have two great big pods on my Mother "Whiskers"....they are so fat but still not ready...it's killing me.....father unknown.
Glory,
I have gotten rid of all versicolors except HG and a few of my own versicolor type hybrids to reduce those father unknowns from happening. Growing mostly candida and aurea type hybrids now. Anything that does not have at least some aurea in it is gone from the yard unless it can't be breed to an aurea. Whiskers is Charles Grimaldi x aurea? right? That would be (Aurea x suaveolens x versicolor) x aurea))...crossing that to my Amber Rose (Dr.Sues x Ecuador pink) which is ((Aurea x suaveolens x versicolor) x Ecuador pink versicolor))....would create ( aurea x suaveolens x versicolor) x aurea ) x ( aurea x suaveolens x versicolor)x versicolor...resulting in some very candida like hybrids and some unusual unclassifiables as well I would imagine. Seedling leaf characteristics would be extremely variable as well I conjecture....When I think of how variable the seedlings were from just the initial Dr.Sues x Ecuador pink cross...I expect you noticed the same thing with your seedlings as well Glory. Its one reason I like using mixed species hybrids to breed with....That and the hopes that by mixing them up enough they will eventually become confused enough to breed with arborea or such.

yes, but so are tomato leaves. Just teach your kids not to eat flowers and leaves and you won't have a problem.

Yes I know they are. My kids know that. They even don't want to touch them. I watch them close.
