I saved every seed I could find..some are round and black, some are brown and kinda withery-do you think these ones will grow?
Ive grown them from nice black seeds-its those brown ones thats got me thinking!!

NM, they may not be any good. Give them a good soak and see if they plump up. Sometimes when I pick mine a little green, they shrivel but some will still come up. Do you soak your seed? Do you knick them?
The last ones I just put in those little peat pellet expanding things and watered heavy. I will soak these ones and see what happens. Thanks cala! =]
NM, I had one actually sprout while it was soaking. I leave them in the water setting on my heat mats for about a week. This one seed is now a plant and growing.
The shriveled seeds are usually no good..discard them. I nick each seed with the edge of a wood file and soak for 12 hours then plant..they come up within a week this way.
can someone tell me why my Bengal Tiger have never set seed?? I checked every single one, they bloom together, what did I miss?

Tig..Bengal tiger canna is sterile both as a seed parent and pollen parent.Many variegated hybrid sare sterile..called mules in the trade.
