I'm looking for the following Coleus that are fairly well rooted, in trade for copper garden tags (I have pics of those) anything on my trade list (pathetic, but, oh well) and rocks and crystals and, well stuff:
-"Black Magic"
-"Black Dragon"
-"Concord"
-"Glennis"
-"Firebrand"
-"Schizophrenia"
Will trade hand-forged copper garden tags and whatever for..
Hi Arrianna,
I don't have any of the Coleus
that you're looking for, but
I'd love to see a picture of
your copper garden tags.
Can you post a photo of them?
You have mail.
I'd like to see a photo of the copper labels too!

Very nice, arrianna! Hmmm, are you looking for any other perennials or hostas? John
Oh arriana those are very nice! I'd consider trading a box of perennial plants in the spring for some of your tags.
Arianna, I think your tags are nice too. I don't have any coleus on your list, but I could send you some perennial plants in the spring if you're interested. Linda
Arianna,
You have mail!
Thanks for posting the picture
of your garden tags!
'Really nice! :-)
Sis,
The edges on the tags can get snipped and sanded for indoor usage... I personally like the rugged look for outside, but that's just me:)
neat arianna
i'm learning metalworking and getting so addicted!!
Merkat123 and Poppysue, step into my office (e-mail me;)), and we'll talk trade..LOL:)))
quynh, are you learning ferrous or non-ferrous metal smithing? I could never get into blacksmithing (ferrous metals) I'm too hooked on the shiny metals
Rachel
Her garden tags are the greatest! I'm going on the third year with some and they are still beautiful. Well worth the price because you'll never see art like this.
arrianna,
I am interested in your garden tags and would like to know your pricing. Tried to email you but evidently you did not receive it.
Thanks
TLC
Agapanthus,
You say you are on your third year with the copper garden tags. How do you permanently put information on them?
Arrianna,
I would also like to know pricing. Will have fuchsia starts ready in the spring and I have about 50 coleus seeds in dirt. Won't know what kinds they are until they are up enough to compare to seed catalog.
arriana does not seem to be a subscribed member if you check her page, which means she cannot see these postings.
wow,
thanks for pointing that out.
TLC
Then how did she post???????
I think you can post but can't repost,so maybe she was hoping to be contacted by email thru Daves????
No, non member's can't post but I believe arriana is a member she has been at DG for quite a while!!!!!
The marker's are really great by the way!!!!1
sue
ruby42, arriana has not posted since 2002, this was a very old thread brought back to the top in February 2003!!!
So sad . . . would have liked those markers
Oh yea John you are right!!! I went to the member page, I knew that I had seen post's in the past from her but did not realize she wasn't a member anymore!!!!!
I think we need to get her back!!!!!!!
sue
I wrote to her in March of last year and still have her email address. Will try contacting her about the copper labels, and let you know if I get a reply. She was looking for Peony, Clematis, and Hydrangea in trade, also Pepperomia.
The email I sent came back as a failed delivery attempt.
I sure wish her picture (hyperlink) still worked since I am making copper labels also and I would like to see what hers look like versus mine. Do any of you that have some of them have pictures that you could post? Please? Lani

try this link
Lani, TLC has posted the best photo of them I have seen. Now, please don't forget me when you've created some of your own! John
TY TLC, your link came up with the picture just fine where I couldn't get any picture on Arriana's hyperlink. I like her designs as they are similar to one of mine. My son and I have been making lots of garden tags this winter. We have been doing several shapes and sizes too. Hopefully soon, we will have pictures to post of our designs. And John, you will be one of the first to hear about them. :~) Lani
Ponditis,
Would love to see your markers when you are done.
John gave me Rachel's address so I will write her a letter and ask her to come back to DG as well as the info on the garden tags.
TLC
I will post pics as soon as we get my son moved and his puter set back up. My computer is a dinosaur, no ports for his camera :(
Hey TLC, I do markers a lot like the ones you saw. I'll bring some along when we get together in March!!
I e-mailed Rachel about the postings, but have not heard back as of yet.
LavenderLady,
Oh Good, I am looking forward to March 1st!
Marcia,
Rachel's email is no good; I sent a letter yesterday.
Thanks Everyone
TLC
I am working on that design now, TLC. I have some of those and I like the simplicity of them for certain plants. I'll let you know in this thread or another when I get them done and ready for a trade.
Just to let you know, I met ladylavender on Saturday and ordered 40 of her plant tags. Saw them "in person" and was very impressed. The picture in this post does not due them justice!
Of course this is probably just a start; will need a lot more than that.
And I would like to have various designs.
Thank-you, ladylavender! (can you see I'm drooling?!)
TLC
