I have a growing 'leg' on my golden variegated pothos, and I'd love to get a cutting going for a trade or gift, but I am not completely sure how to do this.
Suggestions? Is this a good activity this time of year, or should I wait until spring and/or summer?
Thanks in advance,
-Jennifer
propagate my pothos?
HI.. I Love Pothos. I have several of them and have been growing lots from cutting. YOu can cut the leg off and cut each leaves with roots that (it have root bottom leg and leaves on top). one inch each leaves with roots . Put all together and wrap with rubber band. Not too tight. then put it in water and wait for rooting.. If you put cutting in cup on any warm place. They will shoot root fast. When it is ready, Plant them (all) in one hole of fresh potting soil. THey will grow into beautiful houseplant! It is easy to grow them. You can cut them any time of year.
I just cut them off and stick in a pot and it always roots.
Works both ways...but in the pot you have to make sure it is keep consistantly moist!
