The small ones are ok the large ones that are taller than the six foot fence are the ones that lost leaves they have a lot of buds but only lost leaves it will make it easer to see all the blooms in a few days...

Won't be long, Irish, and you will have plenty of leaves again. I've never seen a plant that grows leaves so quickly as the brug does. Keeps me busy snapping them off during the summer.

Pete,
If you want to see ugly you should see some of the Brugs in my greenhouse....I try and keep most of the leaves picked off to discourage the bugs.

After seeing yours, I came home and picked off lots of the leaves. I did find some bugs I didn't know were there and promptly got rid of them. It let in a lot more light to the lower levels and now the passion vines should do better. I have my brugs in huge pots and stick all kinds of things in around the trunk. I took some of the rooted cuttings and put them in pots which I stuck in empty hanging baskets and hung them from the top so they could get more light.
