They are looking good for this cold weather. The one in the middle had buds when I sent it, but I see they didn't hang on during the trip.

Looks like the one on the right may be forming buds before too long though. Of course I may be mistaken.

Rose, they love to eat! Try Osmocoate, it's little pellets and mine love it. You can use MG if that's what you have.

I have a hard time trying to use enough fertilizers with my Brugmansia. I even intentionally tried to kill a Brugmansia with fertilizer once.... I personally try to mix in a fair amount of peat, cow dung, peanut shells, miracle grow potting soil-very heavy on the agrosoke-about 4-6 oz's per brug planted in the ground. I generally try to dig a trench 1ft deep by 3-4 ft wide. Discarding the sand and simply mixing bags of pure peat, cow dung, miracle grow potting soil mix, osmocote, milorganite, ironite, bone meal, etc into the the newly formed pit. The sand is carted to the woods or deposited elsewhere. I have even experimented with digging pits 1ft wide or so and 4 or so ft deep and filling these holes this way which I don't recommend. I have a seedling of mine which I dug a hole 5 deep and placed this seedling at the bottom of this hole...its still growing there a year later. I have killed Brugs doing this as well and I recommend if anyone wants to stick a rooted Brugmansia that deep into the ground they water fairly heavily-use a bit of peat and leave one foot of the top whole empty to hold water. Adding a small ft tall ring around the seedling is not a bad idea either, but why someone would want a 5ft tap root off the bat is beyond me. I will probably never be able to get rid of that seedling. Baring gasoline or some other such hazardous material....
