Well, actually what happened is I let DH take the pictures of Jen, Roz and her DIL and me. He had (he swears I did it, ain't that just how men are) moved the button from "photo" to "view" and it didn't take. This is all I have of Roz's house. This was the sweetest dog and had the most pityful look on his face most of the time, especially when he was banished from the porch after playing in the swamp.
Roz broke my camera, lol
oh, would have loved to have seen these pictures!! cute dog though:) Cala just raved about the visit she had with you two, wish I could see it :)
she is so sweet!!! and i think my son has a crush on her daughter, lol
guess shell just have to mozey down this way again so we can retake it : )
i think all of us from the louisiana, mississippi and alabama area should all get together at some point.
just a thought
jen
Jen...Ready for the snow?????
I wanna move south. I'll never get to meet any of my gardening friends living wayyyyy up here. :(
uh huh!!!!!!
im too excited to sleep, lol
the sprinkles just started again, maybe the flurries ae next!!
cute!! MSJen.. it would be nice if we all the LA, MISS, ALA get together.. IT's going to be fun!!!
Hey......Don't forget the Tennessee folks too!! It just takes about 10 hours to get to Gulfport.
hey, what about GA?????
Of course, we can't forget Georgia!! We need to find the most central location with the biggest yard and have a huge get-together!! Hmmmmmmm...wonder how big Arlene's yard is? Or how central to everyone she is???
Oh, Cala, I knew I would break the camera! Happens all the time! Big Mo does take a good picture though, huh?
He takes a very good picture. I guess cause he was such a sweet dog. Look at that pityful face.....isn't he sweet?
OK ,if they have a get together down south ,us northerner's are going to rebel!!!! WE want to come too!!!I say we car pool our way down there!!Heck ,it can't take more than 24 hours, and it they pick somewhere north, well ,we'd be all set.I take 11 hours to get to charlotte.......Poppy,snow hermit!!!!
Hi, all you Northerners, Why not come too? Like chik said take turns driving and time will go by fast. Why can we not pick a place somewhere in between and hav like a convention or something? Or heck, just everybody come to my house! We'll have a big cookout and maybe eat some shrimp, oysters or crawfish.......Yeah, that's it we'll have a big crawfish boil! It'll be fun and we'll all get to meet.
Roz,
that would be cool. So when are we going to do this? How about a plant swap?
Are Okies welcome? :-)
Sounds like fun!
looking for a map.....and a calender.....suitcase,...tent....
you can leave your snow shoes...we didnt get none :( boo hiss.
roz has a gorgeous home and yard..plus a pool : )
MsJen,
Sorry about the no snow...better get your winter woolies on cause it's going to ccccoooollllldddd tonight and tomorrow night....protect them Brugs!!!!
I think Jonesboro, Ga is pretty central, I just made a big pot of chili with frozen tomatoes from last summer. y'all come!!
I live near Knoxville,(Tennessee) don't have a pool, but have a huge yard. Y'all are welcome to come here.
Not a real big yard but a pretty big pool - course, today you might want to keep your long John's on, there's about 1/2 in of the white stuff on the cover!!
Why not northerners come to Canada? at 60% exchange it will be like half price for everyone. I can accommodate you snowhermit and about 10 others but sorry not allowed to bring extra snow with you, just sunshine. Maybe when you get here, we can fly out to BC. Brugcrazy, I have an uncle in B.C. maybe he needs a visit from a long lost niece. Stop at West Edmonton Mall for a little indoor relaxation (pretend like its Walt Disney World) and then over the mountains for a visit.
Sorry, Dreaming, went out for New Years Eve and maybe that smoke filled room wasn't tobacco, but a "better" kind of smoke. But dreaming is allowed. Annie
Okay, why don't you all come to Iowa? I have a big yard, big garden, lots of flowers, am a good cook, and I'll buy a baby pool. :-)
S.
The Wind will visit all of Ya! lol.
Cala sound like you had a wonderful time.
Jen, I am so sorry about the no snow and it's gonna be cold tonite. My yard looks like an h bomb has gone off bananas all dead, everything looking really bad hibiscus look like they have had a rough new year's eve, alamander shriveled, mandevilla all brown and sad, brug leaves (in the yard) have leaves that look like spinach dried out, but the brugs in the green house are still perky and even a hibiscus out there has a bud on it, so there's hope. I am like the grass ...... I go dormant in the winter and come alive in the spring. Let's talk about getting together some more and really plan something.
Oh My!!!!! Which way do we go, North, South, East, or West?
Now I'll dream tonight of that big mall in Canada, lots of flowers in Iowa, sitting watching cruise ships on the ocean, chili, crawfish etc.I wonder if DH would miss me for about a month. That way I can see everyone. :)
I've been off for a couple of days and just saw these plans. I bet i could get a group of Texans to come and bring some bar-b-q to add to the pot. Let us know where.
Pam
