North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Where'd you get them Gloria? I haven't heard of them either - no surprise

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Glory, I was just looking at Vicky Hardings website and in gallery 9 she had a picture of Isabella and said that it is also called Golfito or Grand Marnier.

Snow,
Thanks

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

You're welcome. :)

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Grand Marnier the same as Isabella?? HUH? I've got both and they don't look the same at all. Better put my glasses on and go down to the GH and take a closer look~ I thought I read that Grand Marnier was from France not Costa Rica. Better do some homework I guess.

Grand Marnier and Isabella are not the same. Leaves don't even look alike. Grand Marnier is a very old variety of brug from Europe.

Thanks Brugcrazy, you just saved me a trip down all those stairs

Vicki Harding's website says that Isabella has been called (wrongly id'd as) "Golfito" and "Grand Marnier PINK"! There is no such thing as Grand Marnier PINK.

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Just checked Preissel - Grand Marnier is listed as x candida. Isabella is an insignis - yes?

Learn something new every day. Just goes to show that even the more expert growers are human and make mistakes.

So Glory - I guess you're back where you started. :~(

Gloria, where do you find all these? the guys page hasn't been updated in 3 years, do you think he has cuttings? and what other wonders?

Don Martinson is the collecter of the one I know of and I think that it is it.

I wrote Don Martinson by chance and the address should be valid, since I did not get a return to sender mail. btw. if it doesn`t work I know, who properly know him.

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Tonny - you have to tell us WHY this brug is so special.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)
