arlene, the last time it snowed was dec 96/jan 97, maybe an inch or so..
its highly unusual here. the last freeze we got killed everything off anyway..its also supposed to be down to 21 by weds night..
OH, so glad I'm home. Mississippi is terrible place to be when it snows. Those poor folks can't drive at all on icy roads!!! We were thru there last year when it snowed and iced over at Hattiesburg. I think this winter is going to be like last year, brrrrrrrrr.
Hope y'all put the blankets over the tender things and turn up the heat in the green houses.

I heard that on the news tonight....If it snows here I'm sure I will stay home. I have done my share of driving in the snow having lived in Colorado for eight years. :0)
I went and got extra propane gas today....I'm ready for the cold....gotta keep my babies warm....come on spring.
Arlene....It doesn't snow here very often and if it does it might only last a day if that.
What is going on? Here in Iowa we are usually knee deep in snow by now and haven't had any measurable stuff yet? Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining, but just wondering why you are getting it down south. Hope they messed up on your forecast.

If this crazy weather keeps up might have to move to the Florida Keys where it is warmer.....gotta be great there for Brugs.
I think I would love it, but moving??? Nope. I think I better stay right here. Would miss my grandkids and bet I couldn't by three acres there as cheap as we got this spot. To top that.......Jim would never see me because I'd be playing in the flower beds all the time.
