OK, I'll jump in and start this thread today. I had a little trouble yesterday. We had company and I lost track of my calories. The "watch it!" voice in my head quieted down after a while and I went waaaay over. I had a great time, though. And today I can get back on track without "overreacting." That's the hardest thing for me. When I overeat I tend to starve myself the next day to make up for it. Only problem is, I end up feeling deprived and eat even more afterward. It gets to be a vicious cycle if I'm not careful.
In answer to the water question, I try to drink 5 big glasses a day. I count plain seltzer as part of my water but don't count black coffee, diet soda, or anything else. I get my first glass right after I go out with the dog in the morning, then a glass 10 minutes before each meal, then a glass later in the day if I think of it.
Hope everybody has a good day today. I sure hope people reply even though GH didn't start the thread today.
