Brewers, KY(Zone 6b)

Okay, so I ribbed yall yesterday..now I am being punished! It is a chilly 38* here this morning. Come on spring..lol.
Evamae, I am glad to hear that you were feeling better. You know, having a hard head does come in handy doesn't it!
We have been having cold mornings and warm afternoons. The day after Christmas was horrible, I woke up to a frosty morning and my tropicals all said "bye-bye" till next year. I always hate to see them go because things look so dreary when they die. I patiently wait for their return in the spring. What always gets me is that we might just have one frost and that one frost "zaps" them. I think it would make the pain a little lesser if we had at least 2 or 3 freezes!
Yesterday I got a phone call from my neighbor who was 'borrowing' my mutt goat. "Homeie" my goat was being a very bad boy, I had to go get him. When I got there, he was teathered to a post and looking very punished. We manged to make it back to my house 10 minutes later after a push/pull tug of war. Those have to be the most stubborn animals in the word. He would lock up his feet and there was no moving.
Baa, stay warm across that big old pond. My mom lived there in England, near Kent, she said that was the coldest she had ever been in her life. She only lived there for a year and a half. Her southern blood froze and she and dad moved back to the south.
Kathleen, I saw on tv that New York is under lots and lots of snow!! Can you ship a little my way (but not the cold :)--blessings everyone, have a nice Sunday, Lisa
