I've been off line for a while.All my kids were home for Christmas this year.We had so much catching up to do !! It was WONDERFUL !! They've all gone and grown up on me.Seems like it was just weeks ago they were running everywhere getting into everything !!
I have a GREAT Christmas !! And Amber ... my oldest.She's the New Gardener.She was so excited !! BUNCHES of people here at Daves' helped me collect up seeds so she can be a New Trader.You should have seen the basket FULL of seeds , Tools and all kinds of goodies !!
She kept saying "I can't plant all this!" ... "how do I grow this one ?" ... "what am I gonna do with all these ?"
I've written dave about how to give a gift subscription for her ... No answer yet.Anyone know how ?? I know SOMEONE does ... a kind sole gave me the subscription I have ;) it's a secret thou ... they won't tell me WHO to hug !! so I just have to sign ... 'HUGS!!'

Missed you all too :0) !! Not quit back in the garden yet.It's a lil chilly out there ! Did start my first batch of Perennial seeds EARLY this morning.Thats ONE drawback from quitting my Meds. Not sleep much anymore.Usually about 3-5 hours a night. Don't feel bad , so maybe I don't need it ??
Been on this computer all morning.Learning about roses.Thats my New Years project.Decided I liked the word 'project' better than 'resolution'.
Anyway ... I learned now is a good time to take cutting from roses.Believe that ? I'ld never had guessed ! So off I go ... gonna brave that cold and go see what kind of mischief I can get into ;)

Have fun with those roses -- Makes me think I might get cuttings of some of mine. But I have such a horrible with them, and always rue choosing to plant them once it's summer and the diseases and pests are in full-force. I even worked at Jackson & Perkins, but my own roses looked pathetic. I want low-maintenance lovelies. Gee, guess I just talked myself right out of getting cuttings, didn't I? ;o)
