Good morning farmers
Well, well, this is a turn up for the books, Hampshire is right on the south coast and fairly warm all year round. This morning I woke up to a quarter inch of snow on the ground. I know thats not a big deal for a lot of you but it rarely lays in this area and its early too. Looking on some weather sites the other day while researching, they claimed that Britain has a major (covering most of GB) blizzard on average once every 10-12 years, last major one was winter 1990-1991 (although the west of the country had one in 96). I remember that one very well I had to milk the cows and brush off the 6 inches of snow on their backs as they came in LOL. I wonder if we are due for another?
The picture is my tiddly back yard I'm not allowed to garden in (landlord rule).
